WHEN ARE THE SEASONS?
We run a spring season that starts end of April and runs until end of June. Then we run a summer season that follows that and runs until end of August / Beginning of summer.
WHAT DAYS AND TIMES ARE GAMES?
The night of the week depends on the level of play league signed up for. Check the schedule page for example of which nights. Game time slots are 5pm and 6:15pm on the given night, with a mix of single headers and double headers for teams.
CAN MY FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER PLAY?
The league follows Boeing Rec Center membership rules. Detailed eligibility rules can be found in our BEESA league rulebook on this site. Employees, their spouses, children over the age of 16, siblings, and parents are eligible. Contractors, and certain retirees are also eligible to play. Friends who do not meet the above criteria cannot play.
WHAT KIND OF GEAR DO I NEED TO PLAY?
At a minimum you will need athletic clothing and a glove. A softball specific glove or large baseball glove is recommended. No metal cleats are allowed in our league, but rubber and molded cleats are. Some players also choose to wear turf shoes for more of a balance between comfort and traction. Our fields are real grass and dirt with variable conditions. The league does not provide bats but each player does not need their own, but at a miminum a team will need at least one bat. We play under USSSA rules, so it must be a USSSA softball bat.
